Chapter 5- Creating a Blog

 Setting up a blog

Blogging is a brand new concept to me. I have never created one before, nor have I read any in the past. I really enjoyed starting my first blog using Blogger because I loved how the website was set up to begin with. I found it very easy to customize and start creating my first post. I would not say I had any trouble with creating this blog. I did have to do some digging in the Blogger site to discover how to modify certain features of my blog. I also consulted Youtube for further information about customizing my blog. I started by constructing my profile so my readers could get to know a little about me. I then focused on creating the title page for my blog, and finally I modified the labels to display the options I wanted to show in my blog. 

How blogs can be used by professionals

After seeing some examples of master bloggers, it is obvious to me that blogging can really help spread information and give advice to people seeking help. I also see it as a tool for companies to use to enhance their relations with customers and gain valuable input from their loyal customers. Blogging can be a very powerful marketing tool to attract new customers and educate existing customers on the extent of a company's products and services. I can see how it would be a great tool for any company to utilize so they can grow their customer base and stay relevant in today's world.
