Final Blog Post
Wow it is hard to believe that this is the end of the Business Communications class. This class has taught me so much on how to write professionally, craft presentable documents and it has helped shape me into the business professional that I want to be.
I really enjoyed using new software like the site Animoto to create an introduction video. Creating a blog was entirely new to me. I used Blogger because I felt like I caught on quickly on how to customize my blog, and create posts. I used Venngage to create my infographic and brochure which was a great experience. I loved having the ability to choose and customize any template that I wanted. Using Padlet for this course was nice because every student could post their thoughts on the website which serves as an online bulletin board. I liked reading what my classmates had to say. I have had experience with Flipgrid and I find it a useful tool. In my opinion it's like Padlet but instead of students posting notes, students post videos instead. I could see myself using some of these tools in a professional setting for team communication and brainstorming. I could also see myself creating presentations using Prezi and product videos using Animoto. All of these tools are great to have in my professional toolbox, because I know they will come in handy at some point.
What I found most challenging in this course was the Cengage writing assessments. I found it tough to uncover the incorrect sentence structure in the assignments. I am very glad that I completed them so that now I know how to write sentences correctly and convey my thoughts better.
Thank you very much Mrs. Brand for putting so much effort into the creation of this class. It truly shows, and I always learn so much in your classes. Thank you again!!
